Say what you want about your exes, but one thing you can't deny is that every relationship serves as a valuable lesson. Because even if the relationship was a total failure, at least now you know what to look out for and ultimately, avoid. Some exes lie, and others cheat, but at the end of the day, they show you what type of people you should stay clear of. And with time, it becomes easier to go through the selection process because you know what works and what doesn't work for you and your needs.
But that, of course, only applies to those who actually learn from their mistakes. Because let's be honest, everyone knows of at least one person that has gotten back with their ex about 1000 times. We're not here to judge but that's like watching the same movie over and over again and expecting a different ending each time.
